How it works

  1. Read your fileSeven pieces: statements, registers, readouts. You get one of the case's two files, drawn at random.
  2. Give your verdictOne name, one level of certainty. Sure of yourself? The other file may disagree.
  3. Open the missing pieceThe other file changes the reading. Stand by your accusation or change it, then compare yourself with other players.

The case: The 25th Hour

On the night of its eightieth anniversary, Hotel Le Belvédère throws a gala dinner. By morning its owner is found dead in the cellar, a door that opens only with a badge. The police clear everyone but five people. Only one of them killed. The case, the places and the characters are invented.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a game take?

About twenty minutes: seven pieces to read, a first verdict, the missing piece, a final verdict.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. The game runs in your browser, with no sign-up and no app.

Are the two files the same?

No. Each file holds what the other does not say. You get one at random, the other is revealed after your first verdict.

Can several people play?

Yes. Everyone plays on their own screen, then you compare verdicts. You may not have received the same file.

What happens to my verdict?

It is counted anonymously, with no name or email address, to show other players' percentages. Your progress stays on your device.

Is the case real?

No. The case, the places and the characters are invented.
